Defenders' Hallway Book Sale starts June 13

The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County will hold its annual Hallway Book Sale from June 13-25 at the Woodstock Square Mall, 110 S. Johnson St., Woodstock. The hallway is located outside The Green Spot Used Book Store.

The hours of the sale are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

The sale and the Green Spot store are closed Sundays.

A bag sale is offered the last three days.

Help the environment, buy a used book and receive a discount on membership if you join the Environmental Defenders during the sale.

In order to protect all living things, the Environmental Defenders is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the natural environment in McHenry County. As a grass-roots organization, they are committed to building sound ecological relationships between people and the natural world that supports all life.
