Chicago Roofers and Waterproofers Charitable Foundation Golf Outing Supports SALUTE, INC.

Proceeds from the fourth annual Chicago Roofers and Waterproofers Charitable Foundation Golf Outing were once again provided to Salute Inc., this year. Salute, Inc., a Palatine-based nonprofit, raises funds to help meet the financial, physical and emotional needs of injured military service members, veterans and their families.

The golf outing took place under blue skies on Friday, June 7, at Ruffled Feathers Golf Course in Lemont, beginning with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

The annual golf outing has raised funds to assist homeless or financially challenged veterans.

"The mission of the Roofers and Waterproofers Charitable Foundation has aligned perfectly with what we strive to accomplish at Salute," said Mary Beth Beiersdorf, executive director of Salute, Inc. "We are so grateful to once again receive the generous donation from the golf outing and will put these funds to good use in helping servicemen and women overcome obstacles they face as they transition to civilian life."
