Enjoy midday music and entertainment at Noonie Times

Eat and move to the beat at Schaumburg Park District's Noonie Times, a free children's entertainment series presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust Company, a Wintrust Community Bank.

Shows are from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 12 to July 10 at the Community Recreation Center outdoor theater, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. Audience members may bring their own picnic, or purchase food and refreshments on-site.

"Noonie Times is a summer favorite for parents and their little ones," said Pam Gauper, supervisor of parties and rentals. "These weekly events are a fun way for children to get up on their feet and enjoy silly and entertaining performances."

This summer's performances include:

• June 12 | ScribbleMonster-music and entertainment inspiring children to draw outside the lines.

• June 19 | Ben Tatar and The Tatar Tots-music for children of all ages.

• June 26 | Mary Macaroni-a magical performance filled with dancing.

• July 3 | Super Stolie-an interactive rock show for children.

• July 10 | Cold Blooded Creatures-a close-up look at reptiles, presented by Jim Nesci.

Entertainment is subject to change. In case of inclement weather, shows will be moved inside the Community Recreation Center. Groups and camps are welcome.
