Des Plaines Park Board Vacancy
The Des Plaines Park District Board of Commissioners is accepting applications from Des Plaines residents interested in serving on the Park Board of Commissioners, to fill one vacancy for a term expiring on May 18, 2021 at the regularly scheduled Board meeting.
Park Commissioner qualifications, responsibilities of the office, and application forms may be obtained beginning May 22, 2019, at the front desk of the park district's Administrative & Leisure Center, 2222 Birch Street Des Plaines, IL 60018, Monday--Friday, 9:00 a.m.--5:00 p.m. Forms can also be downloaded from the park district website: www.dpparks.org/park-board-vacancy beginning May 22, 2019.
The Park Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all applications, waive technicalities and select the individual that best meets the requirements of the office of a Park Commissioner and the needs of the Park District.
Completed application forms must be submitted no later than 5:00pm on June 28, 2019.
