Golf Enthusiasts, Education Supporters Encouraged to Sign Up for Foundation Golf Outing in Lake Geneva

The Woodland Educational Foundation is sponsoring a golf outing fundraiser on July 26 at one of the premiere courses in the Midwest - the Geneva National Golf Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Those interested in being a sponsor and/or playing are encouraged to sign up by June 10.

The Foundation's mission is to receive and disperse funds to benefit the students and staff at Woodland District 50 schools, including innovative projects, student scholarships and technology. Established in 2006, the Foundation is a 501 c (3) non-profit group that also develops links among business, government, civic and community groups to support educational and charitable activities.

So far, the Foundation has contributed more than $250,000 in support of Woodland schools.

Golf will be played this year on the Trevino course. Registration is 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and a dinner/silent auction is planned for 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sponsorships are as follows: $300 for individual golfer; $1,500 Birdie; $2,000 Eagle; $3,000 for Hole-in-One; and $5,000 for Title.

"It has been a couple of years since we held the golf outing and we are looking forward to greeting many enthusiastic local and corporate teams on the beautiful grounds of the Geneva National Golf Club," said Pat Termini, Vice President of Recruiting for the Foundation.
