Palatine Park District Presents Spring Dance Recital
Explore the strength, energy, and vulnerability of the forces of life: from love to loss, empowerment, joy, and dance! Palatine Park District's Palatine Dance presents The Power of Dance, Friday, May 31 at 7:00pm and Saturday, June 1 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm at Harper College Performing Arts Center, 1200 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine.
According to Becky Lugovsky, Dance Manager and Company Director, audiences can look forward to a wide variety of music. "The music in The Power of Dance is eclectic and reflects the vast array of experiences that connect our learning in the studio to the lessons of life," she said. "The dancers are excited to share their work with their families and friends!"
In addition to Lugovsky, Palatine Dance instructors include Assistant Dance Manager and Company Director Katherine Siegle, Maria Dirkes, Bryanna Fujino, Leah Kolcz, Marlena Osterhues, and Madeline Shahinian. Class Assistants are Lindsay Bishop, Alyssa Conner, Gwen Jones, Alexandra Kozelek, Lauren Ovcina, and Paige Reuter.

Tickets for the recital are $10 and can be purchased at J Theatre Box Office at Harper College, online at palatinedance.org/performances, or by calling 847.925.6100. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door one hour prior to the performance.
For over 30 years, Palatine Park District has been offering top rated dance instruction with the most affordable prices. Training students from ages five through adult, Palatine Dance continues to turn out some of the most well-rounded dancers with experience in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, pointe, hip hop, and more. Palatine Dance Company provides dancers the opportunity to perform, compete, and train on a more advanced level. Its members study various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and lyrical.
