(Waukegan, IL): Heart of the City invites boys and girls ages 6-13 years old to participate in Soccer Academy Summer League, a fun, coed weekly league program with a focus on player development.

The program, held at the Waukegan SportsPark Turf Field, will run June 10 through August 16. Mondays will be practice days and Wednesdays will be game days for all age groups (times vary).

Soccer Academy Summer League is focused primarily on offering youth opportunities in soccer in a balanced, competitive setting. Heart of the City directors will assign players to teams based on skill and experience level to ensure good competition.

Additionally, each player is guaranteed playing time for at least one-half of each game, so that all players have the opportunity to learn, have fun and develop their soccer skills.

The league will be led by Heart of the City's licensed professional coaches and HOTC Elite travel club high school athletes.

Cost is $75. The first 100 girls register for only $40. Refer a friend or sign up a sibling and receive $10 off your registration.

Each participant will receive a free Academy t-shirt.

To register, please contact our Program Office at 847-672-9732, vashon@hotcsoccer.org, or register online. Registration deadline is May 29.
