Palatine Hills Golf Course Hosts Head to the Hills Golf Fest on April 27

The free family-friendly golf fest returns to Palatine Hills Golf Course, located at 512 W. Northwest Highway in Palatine, on Saturday, April 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. Head to the Hills is open to the community and will include a variety of free games, instruction, contests, and raffles.

Palatine Park District's own Sammy the Squirrel will be on site for children to meet. Contests will also be held throughout the course grounds, including long drive, putting, short game, and closest to the pin. Free raffles and giveaways will also be available. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Palatine Hills Clubhouse.

Golf professionals and course staff will be on-site and available to answer questions. The qualified Palatine Hills team will be able to provide advice on the putting green, at the driving range, and take residents out onto The Hills Short Game Area. This new area across the path from the first hole offers players the opportunity to practice wedge shots, bunker shots, chipping, and putting. Valuable lawn care recommendations will be shared by course professionals.

Head to the Hills is being supported by local businesses including presenting sponsor Eric Esch - State Farm, who will be hosting a putting contest for patrons. Gold sponsors at the event include Illinois Spinal Care, Grade Power Learning, and New York Life Insurance.
