(Waukegan, IL): Waukegan nonprofit Heart of the City is excited to announce that two of their club soccer athletes, Claudia and Desareih, officially signed to play soccer on scholarship at the College of Lake County beginning in Fall 2019.

Claudia, Round Lake high school athlete, accepted her scholarship offer on April 1, and Desareih, Waukegan High School athlete, accepted hers on April 5.

Claudia and Desareih both played at their respective high schools all four years and have been playing club soccer with HOTC Elite for over a year now. Heart of the City is extremely proud of how hard the girls have worked to earn this achievement.

"Claudia and Desareih are great additions to any roster," said Julio Serrano, Director of Coaching. "They are solid players and even better people."

Congratulations, Claudia and Desareih!
