Join community forum on Alzheimer's April 17 in Crystal Lake
The Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter is hosting a community forum on Alzheimer's from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Home State Bank, 40 Grant St., Crystal Lake.
It is an opportunity for people to gather in a neutral setting where they can ask questions about the disease, discuss their experiences, learn about resources, and discover how to engage in the cause.
It is designed as a strategy to organize community engagement and better understand how Alzheimer's programs and services can be responsive to local communities. Some goals are to listen to the experiences of the community related to the cause and to identify needs, gaps in resources, and opportunities.
Join them for light refreshments and to learn more about Alzheimer's, dementia and memory loss. Bring a friend who has been affected by the disease. Together we can share our thoughts on how Northern Illinois can come together to help people in our community.
