Lombard Lilac Sale celebrating 50 years
On Wednesday, March 13, 10 members of the Lombard Garden Club's 50th Anniversary Lilac Bush Sale met to tag the 450 Lilac bushes for sale on Thursday to Saturday, May 9-11.
Eighteen different cultivars are offered for sale as well as 10 trees.
All had to be labeled with colored ribbons and descriptions.
The sale will be held at Lilacia Park.

The sale will be 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 10; and 8 a.m. until sold out on Saturday, May 11. Choices go quickly and every year all the bushes and trees are sold out
