Elgin Area Chamber presents 'CEO Unplugged On Location' with Dr. Mansour Razminia
The first Elgin Area Chamber "CEO Unplugged - On Location" luncheon will feature Dr. Mansour Razminia, a cardiologist and director of the Electrophysiology Procedure Lab at Amita St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. He is deploying a new state of the art procedure in fluoroless catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias.
The "On Location" presentation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, at the hospital, 77 Airlite St., Elgin. It will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the St. Luke's Room on the main floor. Questions and networking to follow.
Tickets are $25 in advance. Lunch will be provided.

"We are one of the very few hospitals in the nation which performs catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias in such an entirely radiation free environment," said Dr. Razmania, who is mentoring many of his peers globally in the fluoroless technique. He is proud to note that his patients and the medical staff are never exposed to any radiation during the EP procedures.
A leader in this procedure, Dr. Razmania has been working in the field of cardiac electrophysiology since 2003.
In July of 2010 he performed his first entirely fluoroless catheter ablation and has since developed and refined this technique. Over the past 9 years, he has performed over 2500 consecutive fluoroless catheter ablations.
Dr. Razmania has disseminated his views on the fluoroless technique's potential for enhanced safety through authoring several publications and delivering seminars on this topic locally, nationally, and internationally.
He is the editor of a new book titled " Fluoroscopy Reduction Techniques for Catheter Ablation of CardiacArrhythmias," which will be available in May 2019.
