Escapade 360 opens Chicago area's first Candy Factory Escape Room

Escapade 360, Elgin's premier escape room venue at 77 S. Riverside Drive, Suite 300, has unveiled Chicago's first candy-themed escape room.

By now many people are familiar with the escape room concept: players are placed in an immersive themed setting where they have 60 minutes to solve puzzles, find clues, and escape the room.

Common themes include prison breaks, bank heists, and virus labs. In a departure from the norm, Escapade 360's latest offering has players explore a failing factory in search of a long-lost candy recipe to restore the company to its former glory.

"I was surprised no one had jumped on this concept before," said Keisha Thomas, owner of Escapade 360. "It's such a fun, family-friendly theme, and players' faces just lit up when we told them we were bringing it to Elgin."

Thomas hinted at several new and innovative surprises that make the room completely unique not only to the Chicago market but to the escape room industry overall.

"I think players will be both challenged and delighted with the room once they play it."

The Candy Factory is the third escape room experience at Escapade 360, following the Sherlock Adventure and the da Vinci Experience. Players can find a schedule of available times and book tickets at escapade360.com.
