St. Patrick's Day specials at Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook

Saturday, March 16:

Special Dip: Sauerkraut, Shredded Corned Beef, homemade Thousand Island dressing and Swiss cheese in a crock with rye toast crostini ($12). Dinner is served on Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.

Sunday, March 17:

Brunch

Corned Beef Hash served with Poached Eggs, all natural green hollandaise (no food dyes) and sautéed potatoes ($16). Brunch is served on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dinner

Corned Beef and Cabbage with carrots and potatoes, Irish soda bread ($24.00). Dinner is served on Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If you're stopping in on Saturday, March 16 for dinner, you can also enjoy a special St. Patrick's Day dip as an appetizer. Chef/Owners Sarah Stegner and George Bumbaris will be offering a delicious special dip for the holiday: Sauerkraut, Shredded Corned Beef, homemade Thousand Island dressing and Swiss cheese, served in a crock with rye toast crostini ($12).

St. Patrick Day, March 17, starts rolling at brunch, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with Prairie Grass Cafe's special Corned Beef Hash topped with a poached egg and served with sautéed potatoes and green Hollandaise sauce ($16).

Follow the starter with their traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner accompanied by a slice of homemade Irish soda bread ($24).

Make it a true St. Paddy's Day feast and wash your meal down with a glass or two of Guinness ($6.50) or enjoy a special cocktail, Irish Eyes are Smiling, Jameson with homemade mint syrup, Bailey's and local cream ($12).
