Tee off with Bartlett Women's Golf League

Whether you are new to the game of golf or have enjoyed the game for years, the Bartlett Women's Golf League is for you. With more than 40 years of history, the league caters to women golfers ages 18 and older.

All games are played at the 9-hole, par 3 Apple Orchard Golf Course, 692 W. Stearns Road, on Mondays. Tee times are available in the morning or evening, whichever you prefer. League activities include longest drive, closest to the pin, a scramble and more throughout the season.

The cost of the league is $25; however, this fee does not include greens fees. Greens fees can be paid each round with a 10-punch round card, or a season pass. League play begins the last Monday of April and wraps up in August.

Celebrate the end of the season with the golf banquet. This requires advance registration near the end of the season and a fee that includes a dinner, raffle prizes, awards, and camaraderie. This is not a Bartlett Park District program and is run independently of the golf course operations.

Information about joining the league is posted at bartlettparks.com/facilities/golf/apple-orchard.

There is a kickoff meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, April 22, in the Log Cabin in Bartlett Park, 102 N. Eastern Ave., for anyone that has registered or is interested in joining the league.
