Judson University Choir to tour East Coast over spring break

The Judson University Choir is preparing for a 10-day tour of the East Coast from March 1-10, making stops in numerous cities throughout Washington, D.C., Virginia, Ohio, and Illinois.

This will mark the first time in four years that the choir has toured to Washington, D.C.

On the tour, the choir will sing at churches, schools, and a widow's luncheon. This tour will feature a nearly 50-member choir, highlighting the strength of the Judson Choir as a critical outreach of the university.

The spring break tour will include the following stops:

On Friday, March 1, the choir will perform a full concert at 7 p.m. at Parma Heights Baptist Church, located at 8971 Ridgewood Drive in Parma Heights, Ohio.

On Saturday, March 2, the choir will perform selected songs at a widow's/widower's luncheon at noon at Parma Heights Baptist Church, Ohio.

On Sunday, March 3, the choir will perform selected songs at the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services, as well as a full concert at 5 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Alexandria, 2932 King St., Alexandria, Va.

On Tuesday, March 5, the choir will perform selected songs during a school assembly at 10:10 a.m. at Edmund Burke School, 4101 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday, March 6, the choir will perform a full concert at 7 p.m. at Alum Spring Baptist Church, located at 11058 Dutch Hollow Road in Culpeper, Va.

On Thursday, March 7, the choir will perform a full concert at 7 p.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 700 Milnwood Road in Farmville, Va.

On Friday, March 8, the choir will perform selected songs in a chapel at Cornerstone Christian Academy, 169 Police Tower Road in Appomattox, Va.

On Sunday, March 10, the choir will perform 10 songs in each of the two services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Champaign at Savoy, 1602 S. Prospect Ave., Savoy, Ill.

Judson alum and friends are invited to attend concerts in their home cities along the spring tour route.
