'Outdoor Girl' Cheryl Smith to speak at Fox Valley Area Anglers Feb. 26

The Fox Valley Area Anglers is a multispecies fishing club. This year, the club will host 10 tournaments and 9 additional fishing outings from April through October.

Meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Tap House Grill, 3341 W. Main, St. Charles.

Meeting speakers cover a variety of topics and this month's meeting, The February meeting features Cheryl Smith, also known as the "Outdoor Girl." She is an avid fishing tournament enthusiast. She is also an outdoor writer, a USCG Licensed Master Captain, and has been featured on Chauncey's Great Outdoors radio talk show. Cheryl will be giving a presentation about smallmouth bass fishing on the Fox river.
