Jack and Jill of America, Inc. North Shore Chapter Partners with Boys & Girls Club of Lake County

Boys & Girls Club of Lake County was honored to be selected as the recipient of funds raised through Jack and Jill of America, Inc. North Shore Chapter's Biennial Event. Because of the generosity of those who attended, the North Shore Chapter was able to donate $13,000 to Boys & Girls Club of Lake County to provide tremendous support for much needed Club snacks, meals and other critical supplies for daily programming to help serve the needs of Club youth. The Chapter held its fundraising event at the Exmoor Country Club on September 21, 2018, co-sponsored by Camping World and voted that a portion of the proceeds benefit Boys and Girls Club of Lake County. The guests wore all white to the party in keeping with the theme and had an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for prizes donated by the Chicago Bulls, Marcus, A Marcus Lemonis Company and Bentley's Pet Stuff. "We are excited to partner with Boys & Girls Club of Lake County. Their mission which is to inspire young people to reach their full potential lines up with the mission of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. The North Shore chapter looks forward to continuing to use our resources to help make a difference together" mentioned Paula Jenkins, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. North Shore Chapter President. Boys & Girls Club of Lake County's CEO, Cesilie Price stated "The Club is so grateful for this generous donation from the North Shore Chapter. These funds will help us meet critical needs of our youth in supplies and also through meals and snacks, which for many of our members, is their last meal of the day."
