'Little Mermaid' swimming toward Montini

Montini Catholic High School drama students will present their spring musical, "The Little Mermaid," Feb. 28 through March 3 at the school, 19W070 16th St., Lombard.

"The Little Mermaid" is a stage musical based on the animated 1989 Disney film of the same name and the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen about a mermaid who dreams of the world above the sea and gives up her voice to find love.

The Thursday, Feb. 28, performance is at 7 p.m. and is a dress rehearsal open free to all grade school students and their parents. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. for the March 1 and 2 performances and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.

Tickets are $7 for the March performances and $5 for the preview for those not related to grade schoolers.

Tickets can be purchased the day of the performance or by downloading a ticket form at www.montini.org.
