Billingual Glenbard Parent Series to present 'Prioritizing for Your Child's Success' Feb. 21

The B-PAC: Glenbard Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee and the Glenbard Parent Series in Spanish will present "Prioritizing for Your Child's Success" with Saraliz Jimenez at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Glenbard North High School, 990 N. Kuhn Road in Carol Stream.

All parents want their children to grow up to be successful and well educated. It can be difficult for parents to know how to prioritize their values so young people can accomplish that important goal.

Jimenez, manager of the Latino Outreach Center at the College of DuPage, will explain how parents/guardians may focus their goals and values so that their children may enjoy better paying, higher skilled jobs and overall happiness and stability.

This program will be presented in Spanish. A light dinner will be served.

GPS is generously sponsored by the Cebrin Goodman Center, Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE), College of DuPage, DuPage Medical Group, Emmy Gaffey Foundation, Glenbard Early Childhood Collaborative, Holiday Inn/Carol Stream, Prevention Leadership Team of the DuPage County Health Department and Birth to 5 Community Coalition District 93.
