Geneva schools to host kindergarten roundup March 5

Geneva Unit District 304 elementary schools will enroll kindergarten students for the 2019-20 school year during kindergarten roundup on Tuesday, March 5.

Parents can enroll their child at their neighborhood school anytime between 4-7 p.m. on this day. Appointments are not needed.

Prior to attending kindergarten roundup, parents should complete the online enrollment instructions available at www.geneva304.org/kindergartenenrollment.aspx.

Parents or guardians need to bring the following documents to Kindergarten Roundup on March 5:

• Child's original birth certificate or a certified copy (photocopies are not accepted);

• Two proof of residency documents (one from Category A and one from Category B);

• Any legal custody documents that pertain to the student (if applicable);

• Parent or guardian's proof of identity (driver's license, passport, etc.).

These documents will be photocopied and returned to parents or guardians. State law requires that children must be 5 on or before Sept.1, 2019, to be eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2019-20 school year.
