ACFW-Chicago Welcomes Writers to February Meeting

Writers of all genres and levels of experience are invited to attend "Contests, Conferences, and Flash Fiction" during the American Christian Fiction Writers-Chicago Chapter (ACFW-Chicago) meeting from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8 in the Rasmussen North Room of the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Non-members welcome to attend. During this meeting, Author and ACFW-Chicago President Susan Miura will give a presentation on the benefits of participating in writing conferences and contests, and announce an upcoming flash fiction contest. Her presentation will include tips for writing compelling flash fiction. Participants will receive a handout listing upcoming contests and conferences.

Non-members may attend two meetings without joining the group. To join the Chicago chapter, which meets monthly in Schaumburg, a writer must first join the national chapter.
