Leyden announces results from the FBLA leadership conference

The students, who are members of FBLA chapters at the East and West campuses, participated in competitive events and finished within the top ten places.

Leyden students were among the more than 900 members from 25 northern Illinois FBLA chapters that participated in the conference. The event included activities in personal development, business and leadership training, election of 2019-20 area officers, and numerous competitions.

The following Leyden students finished in the top ten of their competitive event and have qualified to participate at the FBLA State Leadership Conference to be held April 5-6 in Springfield.

EAST LEYDEN

WEST LEYDEN

Dominik Skorynko - 2nd Place, Computer Problem Solving

Denise Garcia - 6th Place, Business Law

Erin Stanton - 6th Place, Introduction to Financial Math

Jeremy Bui - 6th Place, Introduction to Business Communication

Kitzia Avila - 9th Place, Economics
