Chamber Music on the Fox to present virtuosa pianist Natasha Paremski

Pianist Natasha Paremski is no stranger to the concert stage in Elgin, and will, in fact, be soloing with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra next month. But Elgin audiences have never had the opportunity to hear her in a solo recital until now. On Monday, Feb. 4, Chamber Music on the Fox will host Paremski in a program featuring Mussorgsky's beloved "Pictures at an Exhibition."

The program will take place in Imago's beautiful, intimate, newly renovated space in downtown Elgin.

"We are so very fortunate to be welcoming a world class artist to be presenting a solo piano recital to our community," exclaimed Mark Fry, co-artistic director of Chamber Music on the Fox. "We'll be transforming the newly renovated Imago into a recital hall for the occasion, allowing audiences a chance to experience her artistry up close and personal."

The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Imago, 216 Prairie St. in downtown Elgin. Along with "Pictures at an Exhibition," Paremski will perform the music of Ravel and Prokofiev.

General admission is $30, student tickets are available for $15, and Chamber Music on the Fox also offers a pay-what-you-can option for artists. For further details about the concert and to purchase tickets, visit www.ChamberMusicOnTheFox.org, call (224) 276-8881, or email sara.sitzer@chambermusiconthefox.org.

Paremski also will be performing with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra on Feb. 9-10 at the Hemmens Cultural Center. Tickets are available at ElginSymphony.org.
