Well-Strung returns to Batavia Jan. 18

Well-Strung, the all-male string quartet returns to the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, 1201 Main St. This season, they are performing their newest album on tour "Popssicle."

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Well-Strung features classical musicians who put their own spin on the music of Mozart, Vivaldi, Lady Gaga, U2, Rihanna, Adele, and many others.

Well-Strung, a New York City based string quartet, derives their special blend of vocals and strings by fusing classical music with the pop music of today. Members Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Chris Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello), and Trevor Wadleigh (viola) spend their time making new music and touring internationally.

Online tickets are $26 for balcony, $33 for mezzanine and $37 for orchestra. Tickets via the box office or phone are $29 for balcony, $36 for mezzanine, or $39 for orchestra.
