The Learning House announces renewal with Aurora University

Submitted by Aurora University

The Learning House, a Wiley brand, leading online program manager, has announced the renewal of its agreement with Aurora University.

During the next five years, Learning House will build on its success to deliver continued growth of its online programs that meet market demand.

Aurora University originally teamed with Learning House six years ago as a curriculum partner, which evolved into a student and faculty life cycle, full service OPM agreement.

Under the contract, the school worked with Learning House to develop its growth strategy, offering online undergraduate and graduate programs that are designed to be affordable, accessible and relevant to modern career paths.

As a result, Aurora University has been on the leading edge of the current growth in the market around social work, offering both a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work online.

Furthermore, Learning House has helped graduate 650 students in the lifetime of the partnership, and currently serves more than 800 students across the university's 10 bachelor's, master's and education endorsement programs.

"Our partnership with Learning House has allowed us to offer more diverse programs to students online, while still maintaining our institution's emphasis on an inclusive community dedicated to the transformative power of education," said Donna Liljegren, dean of AU Online. "We are proud of the intimate and personal online student experience we're able to provide and the innovative work of our faculty that has helped make this collaboration so successful."

"Our renewal with Aurora University is a true testament to the deep relationship and trust we have built over the years with their team and practitioner-based faculty," said Todd Zipper, president and CEO of Learning House.

"In our next phase, we are excited to help drive an even better course, faculty and student experience focused on helping working professionals reach their career goals."
