Christmas in the Village

It was a dual-purpose celebration at Friendship Village as the retirement community's annual Christmas in the Village was held, with a nod to the 90th anniversary of Disney. Entertainment, decorations, and themed food stations were placed throughout the campus, paying tribute to the world's favorite mouse and his friends.

Dining services at Friendship Village took the theme and sprinted with it as they served up Donald Duck cheese and quackers, Cruella deviled eggs, Beauty and the roast beef, Sebastian under-the-sea crab cakes, and more.

"Disney is ageless," said Donna Brown, lifestyles activities manager at Friendship Village. "Really…who doesn't love Mickey and friends!"
