Jan. 8: CLC hosts Quick-Start spring registration event on all three campuses

As area residents set their sights on 2019, the College of Lake County has created a convenient way to quick-start your future. The college will host a Quick-Start event to help students build their futures on Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 4-7 p.m. at the Grayslake, Lakeshore (Waukegan) and Southlake (Vernon Hills) Campuses.

Besides applying for admission or registering for classes, participants can speak directly with advisors and counselors on-site at Quick-Start to receive a personalized roadmap for success. Representatives also will discuss financial aid as well as student job and internship opportunities.

"At CLC, we know that our current and future students lead busy lives," said Jason Sarna, director of Admissions and Recruitment. "We created Quick-Start to be an event with all hands on deck, available to serve the needs of individuals interested in changing their futures with an education. All three campuses will be prepared with an array of staff and services to make it as easy as possible for a student to register or received a personalized plan to accomplish what is needed to make that next step."

Unable to attend Quick-Start? Stop into CLC's Welcome and One Stop Center at the Grayslake Campus, the Student Services Center at the Waukegan (Lakeshore) Campus or the Campus and Student Support Center at the Vernon Hills (Southlake) Campus. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Classes begin Jan. 22. For details on Quick Start, including registration and tips to save time at the event, visit www.clcillinois.edu/events/quickstart. Attendees who pre-register will receive a free CLC T-shirt.
