Go green at Grinch-Mas event in Schaumburg

Enjoy dinner and meet your favorite holiday character at Schaumburg Park District's Grinch-Mas.

The event is set for 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, in Schaumburg.

"Since our Brunch with the Grinch event always sells out quickly, we're excited to give families another opportunity to dine with the Grinch," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager and general program supervisor. "This is a fun holiday event for the whole family."

Activities include Grinch-themed games and crafts. A green-inspired dinner will be served.

Participants may bring cameras for photos with the Grinch. Cost is $12 per person for residents and $15 per person for nonresidents. Children ages 2 and younger are free, but must still register.
