Palatine Jaycees Holding Membership Information Night

The Palatine Jaycees will hold a membership information night on Tuesday, December 11th at Arlington Lanes at 3435 N Kennicott Ave in Arlington Heights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm to discuss benefits of being part of the organization.

Part of JCI USA and JCI International, the Palatine Jaycees create leadership opportunities for members ages 21 to 40. As a young persons' organization, the Palatine Jaycees offers the opportunity to develop personal and professional skills, give back to the Palatine community and meet new people. Current members of the organization will available to share a beverage and snacks and provide more information on the Jaycees. Two lanes for bowling will also be reserved.

"We keep our membership information nights informal so that people can get to know a number of the members and learn a bit about the organization," said Meredith Cartwright, organizer for the evening. "Each year we oversee the 4th of July festival and provide the fireworks for the Palatine community, award high school scholarships, partner with schools to host a STEM fair, host an annual egg hunt and bestow community grants. Funds raised by the chapter go back into the community. We also have a lot of fun hosting regular social events for members and develop leadership skills along the way."
