Tickets on sale for BMW Championship at Medinah

BMW Championship returns to Medinah

Tickets for the 2019 BMW Championship at Medinah Country Club are now available, the Western Golf Association announced.

Fans may order their 2019 BMW Championship tickets at www.bmwchampionship.com. Grounds, upgraded Trophy Club, 1899 Club and Green Coat Club tickets are available in limited quantities. A variety of corporate hospitality options also are available.

Medinah will host the BMW Championship, which is the second of three PGA Tour FedExCup Playoff events, the week of Aug. 13-18.

Exclusive holiday ticket packages for the 2019 BMW Championship are available through Jan. 4. Patrons who purchase a date-specific tournament round Trophy Club ticket via the special offer link will receive a complimentary BMW Championship folding chair, a $25 value, and a slightly lower ticket price.

Attendees will be issued a special voucher to pick up the item upon arrival at the BMW Championship in August.

Trophy Club tickets are $105 for championship rounds Thursday through Sunday, and $390 for a weekly booklet.

The Trophy Club is a hospitality venue located on the 18th fairway, with food and beverages available for purchase. The Trophy Club offers a climate-controlled venue with a sports bar atmosphere, executive restrooms, flat screen televisions and a video screen, as well as large outdoor open seating. Children ages 16 and younger do not need a ticket if accompanied by a ticketed adult.

"We're thrilled to be bringing the world's top PGA Tour professionals to Medinah Country Club and Chicagoland's tremendous golf fan base," said Vince Pellegrino, Western Golf Association senior vice president of tournaments.

"Given the overwhelming excitement already received about the 2019 BMW Championship returning to such a historic venue, we expect the general tickets and holiday packages to sell out quickly."

The 2019 BMW Championship will mark the first time the tournament has been played at Medinah Country Club since 1966, when it was known as the Western Open.

The BMW Championship will feature the top 70 PGA Tour players vying to earn one of 30 spots in the season-ending Tour Championship and the chance to be crowned FedExCup champion.

Past BMW Championship winners include defending champion Keegan Bradley, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Zach Johnson, Justin Rose and Tiger Woods.

Proceeds from the 2019 BMW Championship will help fund Evans Scholarships for caddies. Since 2007, the BMW Championship has raised more than $28 million for college scholarships for deserving caddies of modest means.
