Tree of Life hosts three holiday events in one Dec. 8

The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, is holding a Cookie Walk and special sales rooms on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Holiday Cookie Walk will feature a room full of home-baked goodies. Guests can pick their own selection from tables filled with delicacies. Creative home bakers and confectioners have created an array of colorful treats from the traditional to the gourmet.

Mix and match your own cookie selection plus pies, brownies, and cakes

The Artisan Alley Boutique features handmade gifts, hosted by Mrs. Claus, Judy Ayers.

There also will be a Baubles & Bows room with a variety of like-new and gently-used Christmas items and decorations including trees, wreaths, garlands, ornaments, lights, and candles offered at "take what you need, pay what you can" prices.

Admission is free to the public.
