Help Marklund raise over $18,000 on Giving Tuesday Nov. 27

On Tuesday, Nov. 27, Marklund will be taking to social media for #GivingTuesday! It is a worldwide movement promoting donations to local nonprofit organizations.

Follow @MarklundCharity on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn where you can like, share and retweet posts to encourage others to support Marklund with online gifts on this special day.

They are pleased to announce that the total will include a generous matching donation from the Grand Victoria Foundation!

Last year's #GivingTuesday campaign raised $18,131, and they would love to beat that amount!

As part of #GivingTuesday, Marklund also is also participating in #ILGive, encouraging Illinoisans to participate and give in the communities where they live.

At Marklund, their promise is to make everyday life possible for individuals with profound disabilities.

By ensuring standards like 24-hour nursing care, skilled therapists in every field, and a nurturing staff, Marklund provides unparalleled care. In order to provide this standard of care for each resident, Marklund must raise $17,000 per resident this year.

Donations are one of the reasons why the 174 residents can receive exceptional care each and every day.

Grand Victoria Foundation has offered to match $1-for-$1 up to $4,000 for online gifts made on #GivingTuesday!

You can double your donation for Marklund.
