MCC Shah Center continues breakfast series Nov. 30

On Friday, Nov. 30, the McHenry County College Workforce Community and Business Programs division continues its successful breakfast series, "Start@Shah," featuring insightful and interactive training and a hearty breakfast.

The featured topic is "Understanding Yourself and Others for Personal Effectiveness," an interactive session that explores personal styles and how to strengthen relationships and develop greater effectiveness.

This session will explore why people do the things they do, why they act they way they act and answers the question why some people just can't seem to connect to a particular person.

Based on the psychology of Carl Jung, this session features a fun and engaging approach to understanding personal styles of communication and behavior and how this affects our interactions with others. This, in turn, helps build greater personal effectiveness and helps to create better teams.

Individuals will hear about various assessments used to help identify personality types and learn methods to adapt and connect to others.

This breakfast series takes place from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, corner of Route 31 and Shamrock Lane in McHenry.

The Workforce, Community and Business Programs courses are also available for on-site training at a company's facility and customizable for their needs.

Cost is $39; use course code NTL S90 002 when registering.
