Give thanks at interfaith service Sunday

Celebrate "Abundant Blessings" at the Greater Elgin Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 340 Grand Blvd., Elgin.

Experience the rich diversity of traditions and cultures through artistic and devotional expressions of thanks for the blessings of this past year.

Bethlehem's adult choir and children's choir will offer special music. Sacred texts will be read in various languages.

The keynote speaker will be Helen Strom. There will be a freewill offering to benefit Food for Greater Elgin.

The annual tradition is sponsored by the Coalition of Elgin Religious Leaders.
