Fox Valley Hands of Hope partners with Aspen Lane Wine Co. in 'Cheers for Hope' Nov. 29

Fox Valley Hands of Hope has announced its partnership with Aspen Lane Wine Company.

The community is invited to join "Cheers for Hope," the nonprofit's inaugural charity wine tasting event, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Aspen Lane Wine Company, 3682 Prairie Lake Court, Unit 1C in Aurora.

Tickets are $45 a person and includes a buffet dinner and wine tasting. You must be 21 or older. Sign up soon as space is limited at www.fvhh.net.

Additional wine may be purchased at $7 per glass and 100 percent of the proceeds go to benefit Fox Valley Hands of Hope.

At the event, they also will unveil the first "Fox Valley Hands of Hope Wine," which will be available for purchase.

Aspen Lane Wine Company's mission is to "Make great wine that imparts the resilience and unbreakable spirit of our family and provides our partner nonprofit organizations with the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by disabilities."

The wine company has partnered with many local and worldwide nonprofits with the vision to "Drink Wine and Do Good." Fox Valley Hands of Hope is proud to be their newest nonprofit partner.

Unlike a typical fundraiser or donation, purchasing wine from the Aspen Lane Wine Company will provide a continuous source of funds to Fox Valley Hands of Hope as a portion of sales from each wine bottle will go to the organization.

The mission of Fox Valley Hands of Hope is to enhance the quality of life and to provide hope for those experiencing grief or life-threatening illness. the professional staff and trained volunteers are community-funded, allowing them to provide the best in compassionate care free. The programs are designed to provide support for adults, children, and families, regardless of age, income level, race, or religious beliefs. They believe that every person in need should be given hope.
