Hoffman Estates High Schools raises Money for Programs and Scholarships

Hoffman Estates |Hoffman Estates High School teachers, parents, students, and friends gathered at the McDonald's located in Barrington Square, on Thursday, November 8th for their third McTeacher's Night. The families at the golden arches were enjoying music by Hoffman Estates High school Students while dining and supporting the Hoffman Estates Loyal Partners fundraiser.

Many teachers volunteered behind the counter where they served students and their families at McTeacher's Night.

Teacher Jessica Ecker did an outstanding job selling pies to customers throughout the night. Teachers Kassie Torres, Nick Anzalmo and even Assistant Principal Brian Harlan dressed in a Pie Costume and had so much fun taking pictures with students.

The proceeds from the pies, which were donated by David Bear, went directly to benefit the students. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated to Hoffman Estates High School, which plans to use the money for programs and scholarships.

David Bear, Owner-Operator of the Hoffman Estates McDonald's in Barrington Square is honored to be part of the success that is making a difference in the lives of today's children.

"McDonald's has a large commitment to education and many important initiatives that support families and the local community, McTeacher's Night does that." David Bear said.

A special thank you goes out to Hoffman Estates Loyal Partners committee members; Chelle Kase, Alisa Panek and Kate Johnson for coordinating the entire event.
