Celebrate Carmel gala supports school's students

Carmel Catholic High School will host its premier event, the second annual Celebrate Carmel fundraising gala, on the evening of Saturday, Nov. 17, at the school in Mundelein.

The event will showcase the talents and accomplishments of Carmel Catholic students. Guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres, dancing with DJ Carl Falkstrom, student performances, and live and silent auction bidding. Proceeds will benefit school programs and scholarships.

The event begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Salvi Arena at Carmel Catholic High School, One Carmel Parkway, Mundelein.

The suggested dress is cocktail attire.

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at carmelhs.org/celebratecarmel.

"A tradition of philanthropy started nearly 60 years ago continues to be a vital part of the life of Carmel Catholic," Carmel Catholic President Dr. Brad Bonham said. "The Celebrate Carmel gala is an opportunity for our community and those with interest in Catholic education to support our students by providing essential funding for scholarships and school programming.

"The evening will feature a great selection of entertainment, including student performances, dancing, and live and silent auction bidding."
