Elk Grove Village Police Chief Hosts Coffee with a Cop

On Wednesday, October 3rd, Elk Grove Village Police Chief Chuck Walsh hosted a "Coffee with the Chief" event to discuss concerns in the community and share opinions in an open conversation with residents. This event was well attended and received as many residents left feeling more informed after the Chief and Police Department staff addressed questions and concerns throughout the community.

Chief Walsh also set up a booth at the Elk Grove Farmer's Market on Saturday, October 13 as an extension of "Coffee with the Chief" for residents who were unable to attend the event on a weekday afternoon. Residents had the opportunity to visit with Chief Walsh to discuss their community concerns.

Chief Walsh felt it was important to kick-start the new initiative of Coffee with a Cop personally, and was glad for the opportunity to engage directly with residents. The Elk Grove Village Police Department will continue to schedule future Coffee with a Cop events in an effort to get resident feedback and engage in constructive conversations.
