District 25's Dryden Elementary receives grant from the Illinois Retired Teachers Association

The Illinois Retired Teachers Association (IRTA) dropped off a grant check, awarded to Dryden Elementary to use to purchase flexible robot kits for their students.

The money will be used to purchase Cubelet Robot Blocks, which are blocks that students can piece together to create movable and functioning robots.

This is the 14th year of the grant program for IRTA totaling almost $250,000 in grants.
