Another successful Girls' Night Out for the Palatine Township Senior Center

Girls' Night Out raised over $11,500 benefitting the Palatine Township Senior Center.

Ladies arrived at Durty Nellie's ready for fun and pampering at the 13th Annual Girls' Night Out fundraising event benefitting the Palatine Township Senior Center. Over 190 girlfriends, colleagues, mothers, and daughters enjoyed great food and drinks, including the Signature Drink, a French Martini, sponsored by Brandt Financial Concepts. Much fun was had at the photo booth provided by iStar Photo Booth, and sponsored by Palatine Bank & Trust. Great music was played by Loren Freeman with Event Mobile Sound, and the gals enjoyed delicious appetizers provided by Durty Nellie's.

Nail strips demonstrated by Stacy Margolis, an independent consultant of Color Street Nails, a "Brow Bar" by Jan Tisza, an independent consultant of Mary Kay, and hair styling by Salon Elite & Spa were very busy stations all night pampering our ladies. Twenty eight women were thrilled to win one of the fabulous raffle baskets, varying from salon services, to theater tickets, purses, restaurants, specialty items, pampering items, and much more. Our Cork Pull was once again very popular; 37 bottles of wine were sold, some of the lucky winners even received a piece of jewelry on their bottle. The Candy Bar, beautifully displayed in glassware and sponsored by Marla & Bill Gillen, was brought back from last year, and included more chocolate, per the ladies' requests from last year. Guests could fill a small box with candy and chocolate to enjoy at the event or bring home. The ladies received wonderful little gifts at the Party Favor Bar, provided by our Platinum Sponsors, upon departure. "The event was an evening full of fun amongst friends, family and colleagues as they enjoyed music, food, drinks, photos and pampering stations, all while supporting the Senior Center and its very important programs," said Carol Reagan, Executive Director at PTSCC.

A special thank you to the Palatine Park District for their outstanding graphic design work and help with the GNO video and printing, Just Peachy Photography for her excellent photographs of the event, and to Durty Nellie's for their continued support of PTSCC and this event.
