Annual Seven Angels Memorial Blood and Food Drive set for Oct. 27

The Fox River Grove Fire Protection District and Flight For Life-McHenry Base will host the ninth annual Seven Angels Memorial Blood and Food Drive on Saturday, Oct. 27, commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the school bus vs. train crash on Oct. 25, 1995.

It will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fox River Grove Fire Station 1, 411 Algonquin Road.

When you donate a pint of blood, you will receive a coupon for a pint of Culver's Custard.

and use the Fox River Grove FPD Sponsor Code: 598C.

Each donor will receive a T-shirt, a Culver's Custard coupon, and Flight For Life will be providing their famous "Helicopter Cookies."

If you cannot attend the event, go to any LifeSource location and give them the sponsor code. Your donation will be added to the total units donated for this drive. You also will be counted as a "friend" of Flight for Life.
