All Ages Welcome to Meet Authors, Buy Books at Indie Author Day

All ages are invited to meet authors during Indie Author Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, on the first floor of the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Books in a variety of genres for kids, teens and adults will be available for purchase and signing.

Approximately 25 authors, writing thrillers, mysteries, romance, historical, sci-fi, inspirational, horror, crime and non-fiction, will have tables set up in The Commons on the first floor of the central library in Schaumburg. There will also be drawings and giveaways.

Many other programs are taking place in October, along with a collection of new, packaged socks for the homeless. A "Socktober" box will be available in the lobby for the sock collection.
