Wheeling Township Elementary School District 21 is inviting its residents to two upcoming town hall meetings to share information and answer questions on the referendum question on the Nov. 6 ballot.

The information sessions will be held on Monday, Sept. 24, at London Middle School, and Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Cooper Middle School. Both sessions will begin at 7 p.m. Following a brief presentation, attendees will be invited to ask questions.

The board voted in August to place a $69 million bond referendum question on the November ballot. Funds would be used to enhance site security, enhance exterior lighting, install air conditioning in all buildings and prepare physical spaces to offer full-day kindergarten districtwide.
