14th Annual Truly Priceless Garage Sale Earns More Than $3,000 For Charity
The crowds have subsided. The driveway is cleared. The leftovers (65 boxes) are on their way to AMVETS. The money has been counted, and the 14th Annual Truly Priceless Garage Sale, co-sponsored by the St. James Respect Life Ministry and the St. James Society of St. Vincent de Paul on September 15th, in Arlington Heights, is concluded. It was the second most successful in the 14 year history of the event. Over $3,000 was raised for five charities that either provide assistance for people experiencing serious financial hardship or assist women in unplanned pregnancies. The great items that were donated were "purchased" with donations to our five charities, with the following results:

* Fr. McGivney Center of Hope & Healing 235.05
* Pro-Life Action League 997.66
* Society of St. Vincent de Paul 555.00
* The Women's Center 694.02

14 Year Total $ 31,205.38
