Lake Zurich High School Announces Its 'Seussical Jr.' Cast!
Lake Zurich High School has announced casting for its 2018-19 season opener "Seussical Jr."
"Seussical" is a fantastical, family-friendly musical extravaganza that brings to life favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big imagination: Jojo.
These colorful characters transport the audience from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Come find out if Horton is able to save the Whos or if maybe the Whos save him.
The Dr. Seuss spectacular, directed by Marcel Graham, will star Griffin Brown as The Cat in the Hat, Mary Boehm as JoJo, Hayden Shaw as Horton the Elephant, Teah Mirabelli as Gertrude McFuzz, Sarah Sobol as Mayzie La Bird, Ginger Mirabelli as Sour Kangaroo, Ryan Bohn as The Grinch and Yertle the Turtle, Catherine Mauleon and Cameron Mauleon as Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Sean Washburn as Vlad Vladikoff.
The ensemble will include Sam Hartmann, William Chialdikas, Michaela Hadaway, Matthew Shaw, Joey Mass, Connor O'Malley, Ryan Jones, Teresa Davis, Julia Braasch, Emma Belew, Liz Crutchfield, Olivia Hodge, Morgan Marguerite, Juliana Robinson, McKenna Kalesz. Noland Bertrand, Brittany Rogus, Nicole Lane, Ashleigh Miller, Cassidy Kalamaras, Aarthi Kotha, Sean Sherrill, Sarah Keating, Julia Touvannas, Clair Ginn, Caitlin Raspid, Rhea Prakash, Juliana Wantuch, Sammie Kopp, Kaleigh Heisterkamp, Bella Benigni, Alina Malin, Madee Buergey, Sam Creasy, Gracie Duffy, Annie Gross, Sophia Babcock, Natalie Cupples, Julia Lane, Samantha Benigni and Chloe Ossmann.
