Villa Park Jr. Women's Club to host Trick or Trot 5K Run/Kids'Little Devil 1K Dash

The Villa Park Junior Women's Club is hosting their annual Trick or Trot 5K and children's Little Devil 1K Dash on Saturday, Oct. 27, at The Gazebo in Villa Park at the Prairie Path, off Ardmore Avenue and Park Boulevard in Villa Park. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with the 5K at 9 a.m. and 1K at 10 a.m.

The Trick or Trot 5K/ Kids' Little Devil 1K Dash is a costume fun run/walk in Villa Park, sponsored by the Villa Park Junior Women's Club.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the charities, organizations and families supported by the Villa Park Junior Women's Club.

Early bird registration rates is $25 for the 5K run/walk until Oct. 4; it will go up to $35 or $40 on race day.

Cost for the Kid's Little Devil Dash 1K is $5 for age 12 or younger; or $7 after Oct. 4.

The entry deadline for mail registration is Friday, Oct. 15.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. The generous support of the local business community has helped make each year a success. There are several ways you can help. With an in-kind donation, your funds will go directly to organizations and families in need.

By donating goods for race day, you can provide runners with food, water or other supplies that will help make race day complete. You can also participate in our Vendor Sponsors area with a tent and/or table to feature your business. Your support will be noted in promotional pre-event, at-event and post-event marketing, signage and materials. Your generous support will significantly impact the success of the fundraising goals.

The Jack-o'-lantern level for $50-$99 includes announcements of company day of race; acknowledgment at event registration table; and vendor table space at event.

The Ghost level for $100-$249 includes the company Logo on the back of event T-shirts; display of your corporate banner at event; announcements of company day of race; acknowledgment at event registration table; and vendor table space at event.

The Zombie level for $250 or more includes listing and linking of company on Villa Park Junior Women's Club webpage; company logo on the back of event T-shirts; display of your corporate banner at event; announcements of company day of race; acknowledgment at event registration table; and vendor table space at event.
