College of DuPage students awarded ACT-SO scholarships

Three College of DuPage students Micaela Wesley and Kyla Wesley of Naperville and Myles Henderson of Woodridge recently earned ACT-SO scholarships.

The students were honored at a reception with the college President Dr. Ann Rondeau at COD's Glen Ellyn campus.

The three students earned scholarships to attend the college through their participation in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's ACT-SO program, an academic and talent-based program for African American high school students in the areas of STEM, entrepreneurship, humanities performing and visual arts.

The college has a nearly 40-year partnership with ACT-SO.
