Waukegan Branch AAUW Celebrating its 90th Anniversary, September 15, 2018.

The Waukegan Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is proud to announce its 90th Anniversary this year! AAUW advances gender equality for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy.

The upcoming September 15, 2018 meeting will be held at the Gurnee Police Department Community Room, 100 O'Plaine Road, starting at 9:30 am.

Meetings are open to the public and membership is open to anyone with an associate's degree or higher. A founding group for the Lake County Women's Coalition, the AAUW Waukegan chapter is a nonpartisan, nonprofit group that empowers women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. One of 1,000 local chapters across the country, the AAUW was organized in 1928 and it represents all communities in northeast Lake County, Illinois.
