Preview 2018 Illinois governor's race at panel-style event

District 214 Community Education will host political journalists and other experts for a free, conversational analysis of the 2018 Illinois gubernatorial race.

Decision 2018: A Gubernatorial Conversation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights.

The panel-style event, part of a continued effort to engage the community on topics of importance, will discuss key issues, priorities and concerns at the heart of the campaign.

Attendees will be able to submit written questions for consideration during the conversation. Confirmed guests include Jaime Dominguez, lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Northwestern University; John Lampinen, senior vice president, Paddock Publications; and Alton Miller, an associate professor of communications at Columbia College with a background in journalism and politics.
